Daily statement ledgers, 1891-1927.

These ledgers provide a daily accounting of the number of prisoners confined at the penitentiary including breakdowns by race, length of sentence, and their location in the penitentiary. Also listed for each day are the names of guards on duty, and their assignments; and the names of prisoners in the hospital. In addition the names and home county of all prisoners admitted or discharged on that day are recorded.
